ADOPTED 2026

NAME: BUZZ (renamed Finn)
BREED: Bouvier des Flandres
GENDER: Male
AGE: Born 7/10/25
WEIGHT: approx.. 60#
COLOR: Gray Brindle, docked tail, natural ears

BIO: Hi there, my name is Buzz. I am a purebred Bouvier des Flandres that was surrendered because my family was having health problems and was unable to properly care for me. I absolutely LOVE going on car rides and am the perfect gentleman when traveling. I am looking for a family that preferably has been owned previously, or currently, by another Bouvier. Thanks to my Foster Mom, and previous owner, I know most basic commands, although, it never hurts to have additional training, which I am totally up for. I get along great with other dogs as long as they are up to the challenge of having a typical Bouvier puppy as a companion and playmate. I lived with a couple of cats, and we got along fine, but that is not to say I would get along fine with all cats. Most Bouviers do not get along well with cats, due to our high prey drive. I am completely house trained, UTD on all vaccinations, micro-chipped and crate-trained. I am fairly laid back and a super lover once I get to know you. I love pets, hugs and kisses. I love to play with people and toys. I am great with young adults, but shouldn’t be left unsupervised with young children due to my size. I walk well on leash or harness. I am very smart and very eager to please and would make a fantastic addition to any loving family. So, if you are looking for that perfect addition to your family, and physically able to keep up with me, I just might be that guy. Because of my age I have not yet been neutered. It is highly recommended that Bouviers not be spayed or neutered until they are at least two years old due to our growth plates not being completely formed. An enforceable neuter contract and deposit will be required in addition to my adoption donation. I am currently being cared for in Imlay City, MI. You must have a completely fenced and secure yard in order to adopt me.

**UPDATE: Finn (formerly Buzz) was adopted 2/21/26 by a very loving family in Taylor, MI. Finn not only has a new Mom and Dad, but has also acquired an older Bouvier brother named Roscoe. Finn also has an extended new family with other Bouviers to love and play with.

NAME: SADIE
BREED: English Pointer
GENDER: Female (spayed)
AGE: Born 2/16/24
WEIGHT: 48#
COLOR: White with Black patches and ticking

BIO: Hi there, my name is Sadie. I was found emaciated and covered in feces by a good-samaritan that was originally going to keep me. But because I was so weak that I couldn’t even stand on my own, he brought me to Saginaw County Animal Control. I only weighed 24# at the time, and had numerous sores and ulcerative lesions all over my body. I had urine stains and scalding on all four paws and half way up my legs. I also had ulcerative lesions on all four paws with skin peeling off. I was so weak I was unable to stand on my own. All of this, plus I was also hypothermic. On a scale of one to ten, I was considered a two. The shelter didn’t think I was even going to make it and, therefore, surrendered me to the rescue hoping they could save me. I have been very friendly while handling for exams and treatments. I am great with people, children, dogs as well as cats. I just love to play. I am super friendly, loving, and playful. I am also very neat and clean. I do love toys. I am not a chewer. I am working on learning basic commands and I ride well in a car. I do periodically get the “puppy zoomies” but will settle down easily. I am completely house trained, UTD on all vaccinations, heartworm negative and crate-trained. I am well behaved and a real “love bug”. You can never give me too many pets, hugs, kisses, or love. So if you are looking for that perfect addition to your family, of have room in your heart and home, I would love to be the answer to your dreams. I am currently being cared for in Imlay City, MI. You must have a completely fenced and secure yard in order to adopt me.

**UPDATE: Sadie was adopted 7/18/26 by a very loving family in Bowling Green, OH. This was Sadie's lucky day. She not only has a new Mom and Dad, but also has a new four-legged companion named Buddy. Here's a picture of Sadie with her ne Mom on adoption day with a big smile on her face. Also a picture of her on her new bed when she got home.

NAME: ZOLA
BREED: Bouvier des Flandres (AKC)
GENDER: Female (intact)
AGE: Born 5/17/25
WEIGHT: 60#
COLOR: Black, docked tail, natural ears

BIO: Hi there, my name is Zola. I am a purebred Bouvier des Flandres that was surrendered because my family’s new work schedule changed dramatically, and they didn’t have enough time to properly care for me. I am looking for a family that preferably has been owned previously, or currently, by another Bouvier. I am still just a puppy and I get along fantastically with dogs my size, or bigger. Because of my exuberance and size, it is not recommended that I go to a family with young children or little dogs or cats. I love, love, love, to play with toys, dogs and people. I have had basic training and walk fairly well on a leash, but I do much better on a harness. (It never hurts to have additional training, which I am totally up for ?? I am looking for a family that is not going to leave me alone for hours at a time on a daily basis. Because I am so young, I do need structure and boundaries set. You will only get out of me what you plan on putting into me. I am housetrained, crate trained and UTD on all of my vaccinations. I will need to be heartworm tested in the spring, because I was too young to have it done now. I have been on puppy heartworm preventative, as well as flea and tick preventative. I will need to be spayed when I am two years old, therefore an enforceable spay contract will have to be signed as well as a spay deposit put in place. It is recommended that Bouvier’s not be spayed or neutered until they are two years old so that our growth plates have been properly formed. I love any and all forms of attention: pets, hugs or kisses, you name it. I am very smart and very eager to please and would make a fantastic addition to any loving family. So, if you are looking for that perfect addition to your family, I just might be the girl of your dreams. I am currently being cared for in Westland, MI. You must have a completely fenced and secure yard in order to adopt me.

UPDATE: Zola was adopted 1/9/26 by a woman in Clinton Twp, MI that has previously adopted Bouviers from us. Zola not only has a new phenomenal Forever Mom, but will be sharing the household with a two year old Giant Schnauzer named Noir. We could not have found a more perfect home for Zola. They both needed companions with matching exuberance, playfulness and energy.
