Was in a rescue for over a year due to lack of interest. Not much hair, old-style Bouvier. Needs a lot of hard work. SPECIAL NEEDS: **UPDATE: Adopted 12/9/00 by caring, loving, compassionate woman in Winchester, Ontario. These are the pictures we received in 2003 - what a difference!!!! This woman fought so hard to get him and we worked so hard to get him to her. A definite match made in heaven. After only a week he saved her life by alerting her that a couch was on fire. He is the absolute love of her life - and she is definitely Dreyfus' guardian angel. When we brought him up to her, he had no sparkle to his eyes, was very depressed from lack of attention, didn't know how long it would take for him to warm up to anyone. She had a lot of hard work and determination ahead of her, but it didn't take her long to put the sparkle back in his eyes. This adoption was the perfect example of the best reward a rescue can ever experience :-) He now loves cats and horses.

NAME: Minnie BREED: Bouvier des Flandres GENDER: Female AGE: 6 weeks old COLOR: Brindle RESCUE FROM: We transported Minnie after adoption from the St Cloud MN Humane Society (along with Kuma - above). Pictured is Minnie and her new dad, John (who has been blind since birth). John lost his dog while on vacation this past summer to cancer and he was devastated. John asked why God made him wait so long for his "new" puppy. The answer we gave him was that he was a very special person and it just took God a little longer to find him a very special puppy.
